How It Works:
A brine saturator is a vessel which incorporates several critical design features in order to produce a saturated salt brine for use in a variety of applications. In the simplest terms, a briner functions in the following manner:
- Salt is pneumatically loaded into your briner via the delivery truck’s flexible hose which connects to the briner salt fill line assembly
- The salt is conveyed through your briner’s fully radiused stainless steel fill line
- The briner is vented via a large duct to a dust collection bag
- The brine level within the briner is generally maintained with an electronic sensor and automated water inlet valve
- The make-up water is distributed within the briner in such a fashion as to assure that only saturated salt brine is available to the outlet
- The brine is collected by a plenum on the floor of the tank providing saturated brine to your process
These are the very basics of briner operation. More details on each standard feature and optional accessory are available within this website. |
